If Cant Have You ebook
I enjoy time travel stories. I especially enjoy romantic time travel stories, beginning with the first time I saw "Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. Berg's delightful foray into the genre is not eclipsed by "Somewhere..", however. It succeeds on so many levels, beginning with the allure the old time Hollywood stars held for America -- Gable, Power, Flynn, et al -- and now we have Montgomery. Picturing in one's mind's eye the glamour of the estates, the posh parties, the fancy cars, and those wonderful b/w films from the 1930s -- ah, it almost makes one long to return to those days -- to the Hollywood that no longer exists except in dreams.
But it's better to read about them and escape into a never-never land of romance. That's what happened when I read this book. I had a wonderful reading experience, and had a tear in my eye at the end (all the while smiling). I thank Ms. Berg for putting her talent to "paper" and making my day a whole lot brighter!
