OMG is all I could say after reading the third installment to the Shadow Shifters' series. At the end of Seduction's Shift readers knew the next shifter to fall was the sexy and mysterious FBI agent Xavier or as known to his friends X. Everyone realized it would take a strong woman to capture this jaguar's heart and who better to take up the gauntlet but none other than Nick's sister Caprise. Sparks and instant attraction were recognized initially in Seduction's Shift and continue throughout the pages of Passion's Prey until readers will need a pitcher of ICE COLD water when starting this story. X and Caprise's story will bring several emotions and will have readers cheering and celebrating this couple's journey to love. There were some hilarious scenes in this story and some off the chain love scenes.
Ms. Arthur did an outstanding job in developing X's and Caprise's relationship by allowing readers to experience and feel the pain each carried with them. Readers will fall in love with X and fall even more in love with this series. Excellent read.
Loved Passion's Prey! I didn't want it to end! Caprise and Xavier's story is hot, sexy, passionate, lusty, scary, dramatic, and so much more! There were gritty parts where I surprisingly found myself turned on. There were twists that I saw coming and some that I didn't. This was an excellent read if you want a sexy, passionate, and dark story.
BalasHapusOk if you thought book 1 Temptation Rising and book 2 Seduction's Shift was good then hold on to your hat because Passion's Prey will have you in total reading bliss. OMG Xavier and Caprise story was off the chain good!! Both X and Caprise are from two different worlds and both have passes they don't want to confront. There tolerance level for one another is very low until the night they took things to the next level. Passion Prey's is full of drama, action and hot steamy love scenes. So Shifters fans get ready for one heck of a ride because you are truly in for a treat. As always A.C. job well done!!

This was a wonderful installment for the Shifter's series. I love how X and Caprise were not perfect but were perfect for each other. Caprise stood by X no matter what, I think that's a true definition of a woman in love. I also loved that we got to catch up with the rest of the Shifter family, even Jabar! We are also introduced to some new characters. The only part of the book I did not like is the job Caprise was given in the end! I don't want to give anything away but really Rome, I'm sure you know how X feels about that job! I would recommend this book to all of my friends.

As always. AC Arthur does it again. This book continues the shifters series with X and Caprisr. The story is well written, full of suspense and really hot scenes. AC is a gifted writer who knows how to put together a story. I highly recommend this book, you will definitely get more than you bargained for as with the whole series.

BalasHapusLet me just say that Xavier far exceeded my expectations. I absolutely adore him even more. And Caprise is the right woman for him. She totally understands his troubles. They both were the salve for each other problems. The war takes an unexpected turn and revelations come to light that extremely shocked the Shadow Shifters. I'm so glad there's another book to continue the amazing story.
